Last Chance to “Upgrade & Save” in 2016!

- 10:27 am - December 16th, 2016

You’ve heard by now that a heating system upgrade can reduce your annual energy expenses by as much as 30-40 percent and pay for itself in just a few short years. And you’ve also heard of the Upgrade & Save – New York City Energy Efficiency and Safety Rebate Program. Dozens of savvy homeowners across the five boroughs have saved through the program – to the tune of a cumulative $55,900 as of mid-October!

To refresh your memory, through this program, you’ll receive:

  • $500 for the replacement/efficiency upgrade of an existing oil-fired furnace or boiler to a higher-efficiency model
  • $200 for the installation of an aboveground oil storage tank to replace an existing tank
  • $100 for the replacement of an oil heat burner and controls
  • Up to $700 in combined rebates

Please note that the Upgrade & Save – New York City Energy Efficiency and Safety Rebate Program will be paused between January 1 and March 1, 2017. However, as long as you schedule your upgrade before January 1 you will still get the 2016 rebate once the installation is completed.

The holidays are the perfect time to treat your family to the gift of home comfort, with the additional gift of a rebate for you. There’s never been a better time to upgrade your heating system, so don’t delay. Finish your year off right!
